Hi all…
I am a 40 years old watch collector. I have been collecting modern and vintage sports watches in the past 25 years. During my teenage times, my friends were into different hobbies, but I was always into watches!
Some brands are important to me. You will see them all during the following posts.
Here is my favorite one at the moment.
Audemars Piguet Alinghi Team watch (Ref. 26062FS.OO.A002CA.01).
It is all black, case made of forged carbon with ceramic crown and pushers, vulcanized rubber band, the design is so aggressive and very masculine.

Black Vulcanized strap , integrated with case comes with PVD-coated Titanium Oversized Pin Buckle. But can be easily scratched.

On the case back adorned with an image of the Alinghi team, engraved with the inscription Royal Oak Offshore Alinghi Team - Limited Edition; water resistant to 100m.
The reason of my love is its weight. It is so lighter than any other sports watch, only 96 g (a regular steel + rubber strap AP Offshore is 175 g, if it is with the bracelet, I can’t TELL how many grams! )…
I had a lot of steel Audemars Piguet watches in the past, but they were so uncomfortable to wear, they all hurt my wrist. I sold them all!
This large (44mm) flyback chronograph with Regatta Countdown Function is made for America’s Cup Sailing race. I am not a sailor, but still use the countdown function during the gym.
It doesn’t show its value, it looks like a fancy plastic watch, but not at all!.
It is made of 1300 limited pieces.
In time, this watch will be so collectible like AP End of Days chronograph and T3.
